I have never really cried watching the marvels of nature before. But this particular day when I saw the lights dancing in the sky, painting its own way into our hearts, few drops of tears rolled down through my ice cold cheeks.
We set out hunting to see the northern lights with no DSLR camera in our hands, fully knowing that what we see will be etched in our memories. A small depiction of the wonder can be seen in this picture that has my heart and soul. This picture has been so close to my heart from that day onwards. Whenever trouble comes my way, I remember how lucky I was to cross out the most important thing from my bucket list- to see the northern lights dancing above us.
To watch this beauty with my sister @rev_vera was like the much fought upon cherry on the cake. ( Oh I love the cherries that life has thrown in my way) .
That day I repented that we didn't have a good camera, but I no longer regret about that. Cause, as I stare into the lights or whenever I look up at the sky, I can see them, faded at first, but then gleaming and dancing with a tad of naughtiness that says, 'ah! So you caught me dancing'! So irresistible, yet so far,
life can get so beautiful
oh! in just a blink of the eye!
