🔷This is a photo I took on one of my holidays in the beautiful Lake District, UK. This lake is called Crummock Water. 🔷Hiking is a real passion my husband and I share. 🔷We often do a few somatic sequences before and after a hike. We often practise the pelvic roll/arch & flatten, dishcloth, tower twist and invert/evert. 🔷This really helps loosen our lower back, hips and shoulders. 🔷When we all practise Somatics regularly, we increase movement back into the body. How? We release tight, tense muscles. This allows greater movement through the pelvis. 🔷When we create greater movement back into the pelvis, we improve the shock absorbency through the spinal column, neck and shoulders. It also reduces "jarring" and pressure through our hips, knees and ankles. 🔷Somatics will reduce your pain, improve your mobility and allow you to return to the activities you love to do. 🔷To learn how to practice Mindful Somatic movement in the comfort and privacy of your own home, at a time that suits you, join my self paced online program. You’ll receive a variety of support material. I am regularly uploading new material, so you’ll always get the latest information and techniques.
