For any photographer, nothing is more important or rewarding than having their work printed and on display to the public.
Sadly due to the culture of galleries, driven by commercial needs to sell and maintain a level of prestige. The gallery space remains a place for the privileged few.
Instagram however has democratised the way we find art and made it accessible for every artist to reach and build a following. The ease and convenience that the platform provides now brings the role the gallery has to play into question.
But... What instagram doesn’t allow is for the photographer to present their work with the visual impact the creator always intended it to have.
So to champion new talent worthy of being in a gallery, but without the connections or financial means to do do…SPACELESS GALLERY has been created.
A gallery space, not defined by anything but the art it shows.
